Our mom's favorite season was WINTER! She loved snow, hot chocolate and Christmas! Our Thanksgiving meal was still digesting, and she would be pulling out the winter and Christmas decorations that consumed the majority of our sizable basement storage room. With Mannheim Steamroller playing as loud as a sweet Christian lady dared, she would joyously spend days giving each room of our house a heavy dose of winter and holiday cheer - with the enlisted help of us girls! Undoubtedly, its this time of year we miss her the most.
Though Nikki and I are a bit more subtle with our own seasonal decorating, we still try to replicate the enthusiasm our mom brought to our home each winter.
